I’m beyond honoured to share some exciting news, one of my hand-drawn maps will soon appear in the upcoming new edition of The Warlock of Firetop Mountain,

published by Scholastic and created by Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson.

What once began as little fan doodles while reading has grown into something I never imagined: being invited to contribute to an official Fighting Fantasy release, the very first Fighting Fantasy gamebook, originally published in 1982. It truly feels like a milestone and a heartfelt recognition of my work as a fantasy mapmaker.

The map included in the book will be a unique black-and-white variant created especially for this edition, different from the coloured version you can find in my webshop here:

As with most of my fantasy cartography projects, I created it first by hand-sketching in pencil and ink, then carefully refined it digitally. Over the years, my style has evolved into isometric fantasy perspectives, and this one is no exception, offering a detailed pictorial map of the dark halls of Zagor’s mountain.

It’s also a huge honour to appear in the same book alongside one of my all-time favourites, Russ Nicholson, whose art inspired me from the very beginning.

This is a very special moment for me, and I’m thrilled to finally be able to share it with you.
